so I was watching this movie (I wasn’t so excited about it since I’m not into musicals) but from the start I saw some cool funny bits which is unusual for this kind of production. But it all made sense when credits started rolling and I saw “Screenplay by Kay Cannon” on screen. P.S.: Kay Cannon is a comedy writer. she wrote many 30 Rock episodes. she is one of my favorites. standing right next to Tina Fey.
